Thanks partly to an infusion of money from sponsorship of a carnival here earlier this year, the Lamesa Area Chamber of Commerce should come out with a small profit from last week’s Independence Day festivities. That was part of the information shared Monday during the regular monthly meeting of the Chamber’s board of directors.
