All local and area cooks are being challenged to put their best chili recipe to the test in the Fourth Annual Chili Cookoff on Thursday, July 4, in Forrest Park. That cookoff is being sponsored by Masonic Lodge, Milam #11, as part of Lamesa’s annual Independence Day Celebration hosted by the Lamesa Area Chamber of Commerce. Entry fee for the cookoff is $25 and those fees are non refundable. Entry forms are available at the Chamber office, 123 Main Avenue.
