Members of the Dawson County Commissioners Court are scheduled for a special called meeting at 10 a.m. Tuesday in the county courtroom at the courthouse. The only item on the agenda is to take action on hiring a vendor to construct protective barriers, as a health measure related to the COVID-19 virus, for various county offices. As part of that action the court also is expected to declare a discretionary exemption to allow the county to spend over $50,000 with that vendor without taking bids. ...
