TAHOKA – A county-wide burn ban that was recently lifted is expected to be reinstated on Monday, June 27 by Lynn County officials, according to information this week from Lynn County Judge Mike Braddock.However, the judge said that Local Government Code 352.051 includes a provision that will allow the City of Tahoka and other area municipalities to have their Independence Day firework shows if they so choose.“Tahoka and Wilson, and possibly O’Donnell, are planning fireworks shows, but they also have their local fire departments involved and standing by at these planned events, as a safety precaution,” said Judge Mike Braddock.He ...
