National Weather Service rep confirms tornado hit county ANDREWS – A National Weather Service representative visited Andrews County on Thursday to perform a damage assessment from last Tuesday night’s storm. The damage, estimated in the hundreds of thousands of dollars, occurred mostly over a stretch several miles east of the Andrews in the vicinity of State Highway 176.
