Christmas parade, light show draw large Friday night crowd ANDREWS – Friday night’s Christmas Light extravaganza in Andrews lived up to its billing, according to event organizers. The festivities kicked off with the annual Rockin’ Jingle Bell Christmas Light Parade before moving to the Christmas Light Show on NW Avenue D. Hundreds turned out to view the various colored lights that came in numerous forms. About 40 entries made the parade a success this year. Those numbers nearly doubled the amount from last year, according to a chamber of commerce spokesperson. Perhaps the highlight was Santa’s arrival on a fire truck.
