Police chief is placed on leave following incident near school TAHOKA – The Tahoka Police Chief was placed on administrative leave by city officials last week after an incident near the Tahoka ISD elementary playground that involved a man pointing what turned out to be a fake rifle, but looked very realistic, at children and parents as children were leaving the school grounds.
