The Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service in Lynn County partnered with the O’Donnell ISD to implement the Learn, Grow, Eat and GO! (LGEG) curriculum in the two third grade classes at O’Donnell Elementary School. The LGEG curriculum emphasizes science, math, language arts/reading, social studies and health through effective learning activities that involve raising a garden. The regular curriculum included 10 lessons, but after input from the LGEG Task Force, lessons were increased to 34 held throughout the year.
