Active COVID-19 cases at low mark

The number of known active cases of COVID-19 in Dawson County has reached its lowest mark since June of last year. That’s according to the latest information available from the South Plains Public Health District. The district’s website was showing only nine active cases in Dawson County as of this past Thursday. That is exactly the same number of new cases which popped up here during the last week of June after the county had gone three weeks without a single new case.
