An update for pesticide applicators and the use of dicamba products in 2019 has been provided by Gary Roschetzky, Texas A&M AgriLife Extension agriculture agent for Dawson County. These are just a few of the new requirements going into place this next year, according to Roschetzky. For 2019 only certified applicators will be able to apply dicamba products to cotton. This is part of the label requirements. Those with WPS can still spray other herbicides. There will be a limit of two postemergence applications of dicamba.
