COVID-19 has claimed the lives of two more Dawson County residents, as more than 130 new cases have been reported during just a three-day period, according to the latest information from the South Plains Public Health District.An update provided late Friday evening by Zach Holbrooks, the district’s executive director, shows the deaths of 85 local residents have now been attributed to the virus since the first case here was reported about 22 months ago.That number had been at 83 for the past few weeks.The report from the district also shows 135 new cases of COVID-19 have been reported here since ...
