Directors of the Mesa Underground Water Conservation District are expected to decide next month on a property tax abatement request for a proposed solar energy facility in the northeastern corner of Dawson County. In lieu of taxes, GreenGo Energy US is asking to pay the district about $6,000 to $6,500 per year based on a rate of $10 per megawatt of installed energy generation capacity.
