A Lamesa man is facing a felony charge after he allegedly pointed a knife and acted “in a threatening manner” at an officer with the Lamesa Police Department. Jorge Gonzales, 25, was arrested last Friday and booked into Dawson County Jail for aggravated assault against a public servant, which is a first-degree felony, according to Lamesa Chief of Police Dale E.
