A ground breaking ceremony will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday for Westwind of Lamesa, an 80-unit apartment complex, a short distance east of the intersection of N.E. 7th Street and Lynn Avenue. Signaling the beginning of construction, that ceremonty will be hosted by Lamesa Economic Development Corporation and Lamesa Economic Alliance Project.
