A longtime Brownfield doctor who has been working in the emergency room at Medical Arts Hospital in Lamesa reportedly has pleaded guilty to distributing Schedule IV controlled substances. Various media sources this week reported Dr. Dennis Tedford’s plea deal states he dispensed a mixture and substance containing Alprazolam and Carisoprodol for a reason other than a legitimate medical purpose.
