Lydia Aguilar has submitted her application as a candidate for the District 4 vacancy on the Lamesa City Council, challenging Rob Parker who filed last week. At least two other people have picked up applications, but have not returned a completed form, City Secretary Betty Conde said. Applications are available in the city secretary’s office for anyone interested in representing District 4. The completed application is due back in Conde’s office no later than March 25.
