A 57-year-old Lamesa man reportedly suffered non-life-threatening injuries in a one-vehicle rollover accident early Wednesday morning south of Lamesa. Billy Woods was transported by Medical Arts Hospital EMS ambulance to the emergency room of the hospital in Lamesa. Highway Patrol Trooper Melissa Flanagan with the Texas Department of Public Safety in Seminole was the investigator for the accident. Woods was traveling northbound along State Highway 137 in a 2007 Ford pickup when he apparently failed to maintain a single lane and over corrected, Flanagan said, causing the pickup to roll into a field along the east side of the highway.
