Award winning singersongwriter Andy Mason will take over the library’s Facebook page on Monday, at 3 p.m. Songs by Andy include “Everybody Loves Pizza,” “Shake Your Sillies Out,” “The Birthday Song” and “How to Make a Burrito.” Andy is a popular musician and his programs are highly anticipated. The dress-up theme is anything Hawaiian. That includes any Hawaiian-themed movies like “Lilo and Stitch” and “Moana.”

Irene Rojas wielded the scissors for a recent ribbon-cutting ceremony for her new business, Legacy Fit-Nutrition, at 312 N. Austin Ave. in Lamesa. The business offers a variety of Herbalife products, including shakes, smoothies and energizing teas. Helping to host the event was the Lamesa Area Chamber of Commerce.
