Registration is now underway for several summer youth camp activities being planned by the Dawson County office of Texas A&M AgriLife Extension for third-through 12th-grade students.
Calling themselves the “69er Gals,” these four Lamesa High School graduates of 1969 got together in April and climbed Enchanted Rock near Frederickburg to celebrate their 71st birthday. Cadyn Woodberry, valedictorian of Lamesa High School graduating Class of 2022, has added another scholarship to a list of academic achievements.
A 1993 Lamesa High School graduate recently earned his master’s degree in business administration from Westminster College.
Calling themselves “Golden Girls ‘67,” this group of classmates from 1967 gathered April 19-21 in Fredericksburg for a reunion. Coming from as far away as Massachusetts, New York and Kansas, along with several cities in Texas, the group enjoyed eating out, going on a wine tour, walking along Main St., and just talking and catching up with each other.
