Annual Rodeo is next weekend
Workers preparing for the upcoming rodeo were out in force this week putting up the fencing, railings, and banners; and prepping for the hay and feed for the animals.

On their fi rst business day Friday, owners and staff at Yummies participated in a ribbon-cutting with a Lamesa Area Chamber of Commerce. Owners Maribel and Paul Hernandez, and their daughter, Leslie Hernandez, had the honor of cutting the red ribbon. The business, located at 106 NE 2nd Street, offers an array of Italian ices, ice cream fl avors and shaved ice, along with agua frescas, nachos, Frito pies and hot dogs.
