While the COVID-19 outbreak has resulted in gatherings of 10 or more people being banned at this time, that didn’t prevent a baby shower from being held for a local couple this past weekend.
Until further notice the lobby and dine-in are closed. We are offering curb side service on the south side of the building from 11 a.m. until 12:15 for seniors 60 and over. We continue delivering home delivered meals to our existing clients.
The Lamesa school district was not able to provide meals for the weekend when they distributed food for children on Friday, according to Superintendent Jim Knight.

The Dawson County Library has received a donation from Larry and Vicki Whitman in memory of Bob Ellis.
A week after re-opening to serve club members whose parents are working in essential businesses, the Lamesa Boys and Girls Club is expanding a program of full-day services to another select group.
With the COVID-19 crisis impacting their normal Easter activities, the Catholic churches here will be streaming their Holy Week activities live on Facebook.
