Just a few weeks before celebrating the dedication of their newly constructed sanctuary, parishioners of First United Methodist Church in Lamesa received some news they did not want to hear. Their pastor for the last four years, the Rev. Scott Seymour and his wife, Roxy, were being reappointed to First United Methodist Church in Abilene. This Sunday will be the Seymours last service in the Lamesa sanctuary, which they watched and prayed over from the start of construction to its completion.
