A little over a year after shutting its doors to daily activities due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Dawson County Senior Citizens Center will be welcoming people back inside beginning this coming Thursday. With COVID cases waning, many people having received vaccinations, and the governor lifting almost all COVID restrictions, Senior Citizens Center Director Tammy Vidal said she is glad to be re-opening. “It’s time,” she said. “This is what this place is for.
