Thanksgiving may be this week, but Friends of the Library members are already gearing up for the Christmas Tree Forest Community Fundraiser.The Dawson County Public Library is the place, but it’s their friends who are sponsoring the fundraising event.The event, once held at the Dal Paso Museum, was canceled last year due to the COVID-19 pandemic.Friends of the Library members are opening the door for non-profit groups, families, individuals, businesses, or those with a cause needing financial help, to bring their own decorated trees to display while raising funds for their programs.
