When some senior citizens, who were once seniors graduating from Lamesa High School over 60 years ago, heard COVID-19 wiped out any chances of a Golden Tornado Jubilee this year, they were disappointed. A handful of LHS graduates met this Tuesday to hash out plans for what they are calling a ‘mini-Jubliee’ on July 2. The event will feature activities for the LHS graduating classes of 1955-1960 planned by six committees made up 10 total alumni.
