More than 15,000 cans of food and other donations were received during the third annual Jingle Mingle which ran from Nov. 1 through Dec. 12. Donations, however, are continuing to be received. Nine groups competed to collect food for three local organizations: the Feed One Food Bank, Food4Kids backpack program, and the Dawson County Senior Citizens Center. Although the main focus was to collect canned goods, dried foods and monetary donations were accepted as well.
