Holy Week is the time when Christians mark the remembrance of Jesus’ last week on earth, his crucifixion at the hands of the Roman Empire, and his resurrection on Easter morning. According to Rev. Sam Lanham, pastor of First Presbyterian Church, “Our Holy Week observance will begin on Maundy Thursday with worship at 5:30 p.m. Maundy Thursday is the night on which Jesus instituted the sacrament of the Lord’s Supper.
