The establishment of a reinvestment zone for Tractor Supply could open the door next month for the newest business in town to apply for a tax abatement. Lamesa City Council members recently set the issue in motion after agreeing to the reinvestment zone. The abatement could be on the council’s agenda at their Jan. 21 regular meeting.
