Last weekend’s huge storm here is not going to stop more than 100 Lamesa High School (LHS) alumni, their spouses and guests from getting together for a “Mini-Jubilee” reunion this coming weekend. The recent storm that hit Lamesa last Saturday canceled some of the group’s activities associated with the town’s Independence Day celebrations, but the reunion is still on. Former LHS students who attended school here from 1955 until 1960 are expected to be on hand for the reunion activities.
