‘Elvis’ stops in to sing for Lamesa residents

Elvis Presley was in Lamesa this past Tuesday – or at least it looked like Elvis. Professional Elvis Presley impersonator Harvey Mc-Fadden performed for the residents at Focused Care. McFadden sang and joked around with the residents, handing out scarves to the women during romantic and slow songs. Harvey and his wife Sharon tour around Texas all year. McFadden’s shows usually run around an hour, but for senior citizens he has a rule, “Never mess with bingo or lunch.” McFadden has been performing as Elvis for nearly 20 years and is not slowing down anytime soon.
