Both the Sands Mustangs and O’Donnell Eagles basketball boys finished the Holiday Hoopapalooza basketball tournament at Ackerly last weekend with something to smile about.
Klondike’s girls basketball team is now 16-2 at the holiday break after rolling past Lorenzo, 56-29, Monday afternoon on the Hornettes’ own court.
One look at the Texas Six-Man Coaches Association’s Division II all-Region I team and one could see why Klondike had the successful year that it did.
