School board to consider weapon detection system
A detection system that could point out any weapons coming onto school grounds is on the Lamesa school board’s agenda Thursday night.
City expects light agenda
Lamesa City Council members can expect a rather light agenda when they meet tonight at 5:30 p.m. in City Hall at 601 S. 1st Street.

Tor baseballers keep going
After dropping four out of their past five outings going into last weekend’s District 3-A road trip at Muleshoe Golden Tor head baseball coach Steve Garcia didn’t shy away from the importance of Saturday’s game as as far as his squad’s playoff hopes were.
