Even road trips now seem like you are in quarantine
I have traveled America by car for over 40 years. I have seen extremely high gas prices. I have seen awful traffic jams. I have driven miles without a gas station open, seen hotels that scalped all comers, roads that only remotely resemble their names, road signs that artfully confuse observers, and a myriad of traveler-unfriendly environments, but none can compete with the current tribalism among our states.
