Hunter Joe Carpenter received Scouting’s Eagle badge on Sunday, Dec. 4. Hunter is the son of T.J. and Priscilla Carpenter of Lubbock. He is also the grandson of Tommy and Mary Carpenter of Lamesa and Joe and Mary Reyes of Vernon, Hunter completed his Eagle project by helping Northside Baptist Church in Lamesa. Hunter has been part of Scouts since beginning as a Tiger Cub with Pack 509 then moving to Troop 505 where he was able to reach the top of Scouting, Eagle.
