City in a good place water-wise

TAHOKA – The citizens of Tahoka are in good shape when it comes to their water supply. After years of boil water notices, broken waterlines, high nitrate levels from city wells, and other water system headaches, the citizens of Tahoka are now, finally, in a very good place in regards to their city water. In the last few years, the city has completed a modernized system of new waterlines throughout the city to replace a 100-year-old system, and recently completed the addition of a new water well which supplements the city’s water supply from Lake Meredith.
