Lamesa City Council members are conducting a regular meeting at 5:30 p.m., Tuesday at 601 S. First Street to consider fi nalizing the city’s 2020-2021 budget.
The recent surge in COVID-19 cases here doesn’t seem to be slowing any.
Technically the $21 million budget, approved by Lamesa Independent School District board of trustees in a special meeting Thursday evening, is a balanced one, but it does have a $250,000 deficit as part of a contingency plan.
