Tuesday the Governor signed HB3 into law. House Bill 3 is a historic school finance bill that will provide more resources for classroom teachers and auxiliary staff while reducing recapture and reducing local property taxes for Texas taxpayers. What does this mean for Lamesa ISD and local taxpayers? HB3 will increase funding for students in Lamesa ISD to help provide additional resources for PK education as well as K-12.
