Editor,Saturday, the LHS powerlifting team competed in the Region 1, Division 3 Powerlifting meet in Sundown. The Lamesa team had 5 qualifi ers participate in 5 different weight classes. The competition was a fi erce battle in which technical profi ciency, strategy, and preparation were the determinate factors in both individual and team success.In the sport of power lifting, there are several factors which contribute to a team’s overall success.
