Ihave been back in Malawi for over two weeks. In their last election three weeks ago, the president won by about 1 percent of the vote over the next opponent. There were three in the race that scored close to each other vote-wise. Of course, just like in America, the losers claim there was fraud. Just like in some areas of our country, the losers break things, start fights, burn cars and otherwise do damage. Out here, they occasionally find a white tourist to beat up.
