Editor,At 6:30 pm Thursday June 9, 2022, I was notifi ed by a friend that the Dawson County Central Appraisal District (DCCAD) was holding its quarterly meeting at 7 am the next morning. I had expressed my interest in knowing what this public entity was doing and my intention to attend every meeting. I read the newspaper every week and had not seen the meeting notice in the paper.The meeting started about 7:04 am with most of the board present.
