John Ramos said he had two phone calls to make on Monday after being named the lone finalist to become the next superintendent of the Lamesa Independent School District.
The first would be to his wife, Jaqueline, letting her know how things had finally come out after weeks of prayer about the situation.
Then he would be contacting his parents, Lamesa residents Pablo and Ramona Ramos.
He had not even told them he was in the running for the superintendent’s position.
