The old grain silos at North 7th and Lynn Avenue have been torn down and plans are to tear down the remainning metal buildings on that property between Lynn and Dallas Avenues, according to information from Wayne Smith, chief inspector for the City of Lamesa. Smith said the property is owned by Don Holcomb and he did not indicate there were any plans other than to clean up the property. (Herrel Hallmark/Press-Reporter)
