Indictments include aggravated sexual assault, indecency with child

News - Published on: July 04, 2012

A Dawson County Grand Jury has issued an indictment charging 26-year-old George Flores with aggravated sexual assault and indecency with a child.

The five-count indictment, issued in late May and made public this past week, accuses Flores of exposing himself and having sexual contact with a female under the age of 14 in May of 2004.

Another grand jury indictment, issued in April, charges Mark Alan Edmonds, age 44, with failure to appear.

That charge claims Edmonds  did not show up in district court here as required on March 21 after being released on bail on a felony theft charge.

Indictments issued here are not released to the public until warrants have been served on the persons named in those indictments.
