Services for Betty Ann Miller, 80, of Lubbock, were held at 2 p.m. Monday at South Plains Church of Christ.

Burial was at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Lamesa Memorial Park under the direction of Combest Family Funeral Homes.

Mrs. Miller died on Friday, June 22, 2012.

She was born on April 7, 1932, in Gregg County to Fred and Verdie (McHenry) Gamblin.

She worked as a legal secretary until retiring and was a member of the Genealogical Society and Plainview United Methodist Church.

Survivors include her husband, George Miller of Lubbock; a son, Pat Miller of North Pownal, Vt.; a daughter, Karen Miller Burk of Lubbock; a sister, Mary Hilton of Littleton, Colo.; one grandson; and a great-granddaughter.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and two sisters, Alta Bavousett and Jean Dennis.
