Teams of teenagers competed in an Iron Chef Pastry Decoration Contest during the Dawson County Public Library Summer Reading Program held on Thursday afternoon. The teenagers competed in cookie decorating and in shortcake decorating contests with the two winning teams facing off in the finals. The students were provided with icing, sprinkles, marshmallows, gummy worms and other food decorations to create their masterpieces. The teenagers meet each Thursday, at 2 p.m., in the Library Meeting Room located on the west side of the building. This Thursday, the teenagers will have a Zumba exercising workout.
